ABSTRACT
This research centers around examining the impact of knowledge management on the
organizational management of Nigerian banks: a case study of First bank of Nigeria.
Knowledge is turning out to be progressively more helpful and significant for
organizations, it is perceived as a hotspot for the organization to develop and contend
in the market (Monavvarian et al., 2013). Gloet and his co-author Berrell (2003)
propose that the peculiarity of KM is not only some passing prevailing fashion, but
rather is currently setting up a good foundation for itself as another part of the
organizational management". Moreover, KM has acquired this authenticity in the
scholarly community because of counseling organizations that have tried to exploit the
huge capability of data innovation (Smith & Lyles, 2003).
However, the main approach adopted is a quantitative research method consisting of
both survey and descriptive research design in other to attain the research objective
using a questionnaire as the instrument and the questionnaire was distributed
electronically to 325 employees both male and female who work in First bank of
Nigeria, Lagos State and only 285 questionnaires were returned which forms 87.7%
of the aggregate.
The consequences of this research work demonstrate huge positive influence of
knowledge management on organizational management at First bank of Nigeria, Lagos
State.
