ABSTRACT
In the field of management and organization studies (MOS), the "panopticon" is a central
iconic notion that has long fueled academic discussions.
This paper is an effort to expand
on the theoretical debate that has taken place over the last decade by critically reviewing
the practical research of the Panopticon management style and the role it places in
the
workplace today.
This study elucidates several theoretical avenues that management and
organization experts can pursue in order to make sense of this inconsistency and
complexity. Deleuze, Haggerty, Ericson, and Zuboff are just
