'ABSTRACT Today, human resources have become the most important capital in enterprises and public institutions. Therefore, maintaining a more effective human resource management has become almost mandatory. An effective human resources policy is possible with job analysis. Business data obtained by the analysis is an important tool in fulfilling the functions of human resources. Therefore, an effective job analysis plays an important role in the human resources planning. This study has been carried out for the purpose of determining human resources policy and job analysis of Hatay Metropolitan Municipality. As a result, it has been found that Hatay Metropolitan Municipality gives importance to human resources and they have job analysis, job description and job assessment.
