Özet notu | Abstract<br/>In residential buildings, less power factor is not a big issue. However, this does become a problem in industries where multiple motors are operate. Because of this, industrialists have to pay penalty. Therefore, there is an urgent need to improve this. In this project, we implement the microcontroller based combination system with capacitors bank for the power factor management. Power factor is decreased which cause of power losses from load to source.<br/>The report provides a literature study on the power factor compensator of the fixed capacitor control reactor type through Matlab simulation and implementation in a programmable microcontroller. The purpose is to keep the power factor close to one under different or various load conditions. Use Matlab software for simulation, which displays the power factor according to changes in load.<br/>In this research we are introducing such a scheme to save industrialists from penalty by engaging power factor utilizing the Micro-controller. This system is designed for 400VAR so at different load condition our system is more reliable and more efficient in currently available system. If we use different types of load within the range of 400VAR the system is stable, providing maximum and better result over the currently available system. The proposed method for power factor compensation has been applied to a currently available power system and the results are compared. The proposed methodology has been able to improve results reported in the reference work.
