| Özet notu | ABSTRACT Facebook usage has not only seen a spike in the amount of information disclosure but has also raised numerous risks and concerns surrounding user privacy and self-disclosure itself. Current literature has reported the growing interest of the research community in identifying numerous privacy concerns and risks related to self-disclosure on Facebook. Facebook and other SNS service providers are meant to step up their game in ensuring that user's private information is kept safe, to boost usability of diverse users and for diverse profitable purposes. Especially when it comes to security risk. However, less is understood regarding how various issues of privacy and trust affect users' intentions to share information on Facebook. To fill this gap, a research model is built and deployed to further understand the effect of privacy concerns, privacy risk on self-disclosure in Facebook which can be applied to other social networking sites. This study presently employs questionnaires to analyze the components that has effects on users, which was filled by students online, via google forms application. 400 students from CIU filled the forms online. Both Statistical package for social science SPSS and Partial least square PLS were utilized for analysis. With this in mind, this research targets to add to the current theory of Facebook Self-disclosure, privacy concern and privacy risk. In line with that, this research is based on a quantitative research methodology, where the central analysis technique is focused on the results from the questionnaire.
