'Yapılan çalışma, günümüze kadar dilimize gelmeyi başarmış olan deyimleri, dilimizdeki öneminin kaybetmemesi ve unutulan deyimleri insanlara hatırlatmayı amaçlar. Cultivation teori, günümüzdeki ve geçmişteki insanların tecrübelerinden elde ettiğimiz bilgilerdir. (www.colostate.edu/Depts/Speech/rccs/theory06.htm) Atalarımız, başlarından geçen deneyimleri mecazi bir şekilde özet olarak anlatmaya çalışmışlardır. Günümüzde bu mecazi anlamda söylenen söz gruplarına deyim veya atasözü deriz. Bu deyimlerin bazıları, değişikliğe uğrayarak değişik toplumlarda, değişik anlamlar ifade ediyorlar. Bir bakıma, duruma göre farklı yorumlanabiliyorlar. Bu projede, bu deyimlerin bazıları seçilerek görselleştirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Unutulmaya yüz tutmuş kültürel mirasımızn bir parçası olan, dilimizde kullanılan deyimleri, insanlara hatırlatma amacından oluşan çalışmada 25 tane deyim seçilerek (kel başa şimşir tarak; azı karar, çoğu zarar; on parmağında on marifet; bire bin katmak...) görsel imajlar haline getirilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde, literatürdeki bilgilerden yararlanılarak semiotiğin ne olduğu, deyimler ve deyimlerin önemi anlatılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın önemi, toplumlardaki deyimler, içinde bulundukları toplumların birer aynası gibi olduklarından bu konu ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümünde de ele alınan 25 tane deyim, görsel imajlar halinde sunulmuştur. Sunulan 25 imaj, semiotik (semiotik çalışmaya göre bütünün parçaları kişiden kişiye farklı yorumlanabilir.) olarak ele alınıp yorumlanmıştır.' |

'The aim of this study is to remind community of the forgotten idioms and help protecting the importance of those idioms which still exist within the language. According to cultivation theory, we gather the information from experiences of our ancestors and the people's lives (www.colostate.edu/Depts/Speech/rccs/theory06.htm). A part of that information can be observed with idioms, they are brief and metaphorical expressions of our ancestors' experiences. Some of the idioms can be altered by various societies and might have different meanings. In a way, they can be interpreted according to situation. In this project, some of these idioms are selected to be visualized. This study, aiming to remind people of these idioms, which are nearly forgotten and are a piece of our cultural inheritance, visualizes 25 selected idioms( for example, kel, başa şimir tarak; azı kararö çoğu zarar; on parmağında, on marıfet; bire bin katmak...) as images. First part of the study explains what semiotics is, idioms and the importance of idioms according to the information within the literature. The idioms used by the communities are the mirrors of that community. At the second part of the study, 25 idioms are presented as visual images. These selected 25 idioms are interpreted in semiotics (according to the semiotic study, piece of the whole can be interpreted differently by the people). ' |
