| Özet notu | ABSTRACT<br/>The sub-region of West Africa is currently beset by conflict, which is one of the most<br/>pressing issues. Many people have been killed and a great deal of property has been<br/>desecrated as a result of conflicts for power and sovereignty, resource allocation, and<br/>identity politi. Individuals or groups in certain social and physical situations have<br/>varied opinions, interests, goals, and aspirations, which leads to conflict. Conflict is<br/>unavoidable, and it there must be acceptance to anticipate it at all times. As a result,<br/>there must be a built management systems for resolving conflicts, with the capacity to<br/>always benefit from the positive or functional parts of the phenomena while controlling<br/>the negative aspects. This thesis will use qualitative research design and secondary<br/>data as research method. The report conducts a review of the literature that leads to a<br/>better understanding of the Liberian and Sierra Leonean civil wars. It primarily focuses<br/>on the United Nations' role in resolving international conflicts. The broad<br/>research objectives include conducting an intellectual examination and proposing a<br/>foundation for long-term peace in the two countries. |
