| Özet notu | ÖZET<br/>Çağdaş eğitim sürecinin önemli bir parçası olan öğrencilere kişilik hizmetlerinin<br/>sağlanması sorumluluğunu üstlenen rehber öğretmenlerin görev ve sorumluklarını<br/>etkili bir biçimde yerine getirmeleri okul yöneticilerinin rolü önem arz etmektedir. Bu<br/>araştırma, Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti’nde devlet liselerinde görevli psikolojik<br/>danışman ve rehber öğretmenlerinin eğitimdeki rolleri ve okul yöneticilerinden<br/>beklentilerine ilişkin görüşlerinin ortaya konulmasını amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma nitel<br/>araştıma yöntemi ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya KKTC liselerinde görev yapan 21<br/>rehber öğretmen katılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen<br/>ve yapıaln öntedst sonrası son hali verilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu<br/>aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analizi tekniği ile analiz<br/>edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda okul yöneticlerinin rehber öğretmen ve paydaşlar<br/>arasındaki koordinasyonu sağlamada yetersiz olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Rehber<br/>öğretmenlerin okul yöneticilerinden beklentilerinde ise rehberlik hizmetinin önemini<br/>anlamaları görüşü öne çıkmaktadır. |

| Özet notu | ABSTRACT<br/>It is important for school administrators to fulfill their duties and responsibilities<br/>effectively by school counselors, who are responsible for providing personality<br/>services to students, which is an important part of the contemporary education process.<br/>This research aims to reveal the opinions of psychological counselors and guidance<br/>teachers working in public high schools in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus<br/>about their roles in education and their expectations from school administrators. The<br/>research was carried out with the qualitative research method. 21 guidance teachers<br/>working in TRNC high schools participated in the research. The data of the research<br/>were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher<br/>and finalized after the pretest. The obtained data were analyzed with the descriptive<br/>analysis technique. As a result of the research, it was concluded that school<br/>administrators are insufficient in providing coordination between the guidance teacher<br/>and the stakeholders. In the expectations of counselors from school administrators, the<br/>view that they understand the importance of guidance service comes to the fore. |
