Kalp
yetmezliği hastalarının dengelerinin etkilendiği düşünülmektedir. Bu sebeple kalp
yetmezliği hastalarında propriyosepsitif duyu, denge ve kas kuvveti
etkilenebilmektedir. Çalışmamızda kalp yetmezliği hastaları ile sağlıklı bireylerin
propriyoseptif duyu, denge, kas kuvveti, kinezyofobi düzeyleri, fiziksel aktivite
düzeyleri ve fonksiyonel kapasiteleri karşılaştırıldı. Çalışmamız 59 katılımcı ile
tamamlandı. Kalp yetmezliği hastalarının yaş ortalamaları 56,48±7,73 yıl, boy
uzunluğu ortalamaları 171,07±9,98 cm, vücut ağırlığı ortalamaları 84,55±16,77 kg ve
VKİ ortalamaları 28,78 kg/m2 idi. Sağlıklı bireylerin yaş ortalamaları 53,27±7,04 yıl,
boy uzunluğu ortalamaları 169,90±9,92 cm, vücut ağırlığı ortalamaları 76,47±14,47
kg, VKİ ortalamaları 26,43 kg/m2
idi.
Propriyoseptif duyunun
kinezyofobi ile arasında zayıf-orta ilişki olduğu saptandı.
Anahtar Kelimeler: Denge, Kalp yetmezliği, Kinezyofobi, Propriyosepsiyon |

ABSTRACT
In this study, in which the relationship between proprioceptive sense and balance and
muscle functions in heart failure patients was examined, a study was carried out with
participants aged 18-65 years. Although heart failure affects body systems, it causes
various symptoms and signs such as dyspnea, fatigue and peripheral edema. It is
thought that the balance of heart failure patients is affected. For this reason,
proprioceptive sense, balance and muscle strength may be affected in patients with
heart failure. In our study, proprioceptive sense, balance, muscle strength,
kinesiophobia levels, physical activity levels and functional capacities of heart failure
patients and healthy individuals were compared. Our study was completed with 59
participants. The mean age of the heart failure patients was 56,48±7,73 years, the mean
height was 171,07±9,98 cm, the mean body weight was 84,55±16,77 kg, and the mean
BMI was 28,78 kg/m2. The mean age of healthy individuals was 53,27±7,04 years,
mean height was 169,90±9,92 cm, mean body weight was 76,47±14,47 kg, and mean
BMI was 26,43 kg/m2. Walking distances and expected percentage values during the
6-minute walk test were found to be lower in heart failure patients. Perceived dyspnea,
leg fatigue and general fatigue values before and after the test were higher than healthy
individuals, and a statistically significant difference was found (p<0,05). As a result
of the study, balance, hand grip strength and physical activity levels of heart failure
patients were found to be lower than the healthy group. A statistically significant
difference was found in the comparison between the groups (p<0,05). A statistically
significant difference was found between the groups in shoulder flexion proprioceptive
sensory evaluation (p<0,05). There was no statistically significant difference between
the groups in the evaluation of hip flexion proprioceptive sensation (p>0,05). It was
found that proprioceptive sense, balance and muscle strength were lower in heart
failure patients compared to healthy individuals. When the relationship between
proprioceptive sense and balance and muscle functions was examined, a weak moderate relationship was found. It was determined that there was a weak-moderate
relationship between proprioceptive sense and kinesiophobia.
Keywords: Balance, Heart failure, Kinesiophobia, ProprioceptionIn this study, in which the relationship between proprioceptive sense and balance and
muscle functions in heart failure patients was examined, a study was carried out with
participants aged 18-65 years.
