| Özet notu | ABSTRACT<br/>The history of Africa's violent conflicts and political instability has earned it the label <br/>of being at war against itself. Today, its citizens are living in poverty and divided <br/>societies. Over two million people have died in various political uprisings and civil <br/>wars since the start of the decade. About 10 million have been affected by forced <br/>migration. Various international organizations and policymakers are working to find <br/>ways to prevent these types of conflicts from happening. They are also looking into <br/>the root causes of these conflicts.<br/>Through the efforts and contributions of academic experts, they have been able to <br/>provide valuable information about the current state of global conflict. They have been <br/>able to identify the various factors that have contributed to the rise of international <br/>conflicts. Some of the prominent individuals involved in this research include <br/>Boulding, Zartman, and Burton.<br/>Through this research, the experts were able to identify the causes of the conflicts in <br/>the two countries, such as those in the Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone. The study used <br/>various sources such as academic papers, Internet sites, and historical documents to <br/>analyze the various factors that contribute to the development of violent conflicts in <br/>Africa. It concluded that economic and political factors are the main factors that <br/>contribute to the instability of the conflict in Sierra Leone and Ivory Coast.<br/>The study identified several factors that are needed to ensure that political and <br/>economic stability can be achieved in the new millennium.
