| Özet notu | ABSTRACT<br/>The emergence of COVID-19 has presented many difficulties in various <br/>organizational sectors globally. The internet of things has been a significant enabler of <br/>benefits in any pandemic mainly to its users. However, despite the advantages the <br/>internet of things offers, there has been a low turnout in the adoption of IoT technology <br/>globally. It has affected many organizations and a few of these organizations that are <br/>unable to surpass the low backs encountered during the pandemic collapsed. The <br/>researcher adopted a quantitative approach to analyze factors influencing the use of <br/>IoT wristbands during the COVID-19 pandemic. An online survey was conducted to <br/>obtain the data. Regression analysis and Structural equation modeling (SEM)<br/>techniques were done using SmartPLS4 version 4.0.8.3 to obtain the results in <br/>analyzing the factors influencing the use of IoT wristbands during the pandemic. The <br/>results showed that PC and SC positively influenced IU towards IoT usage; however, <br/>PC did not have a direct significance to IU. The results also showed that TR positively <br/>influenced the continued intention to use (IU) IoT services. The study reveals that one <br/>of the top benefits of using IoT is that it strictly maintains social distancing. It was <br/>seen that TR as a mediator positively influenced PC and SC towards IU. The <br/>explanatory and predictive power of analyzing the factors influencing the use of IoT <br/>wristbands during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Turkish republic of North Cyprus <br/>accounted for 45%. This study has contributed to the body of knowledge on IoT <br/>adoption that can be used by policymakers and government officials.<br/>Keywords : Actuators, Adoption, COVID-19, Factors, Internet of things (IoT), <br/>Privacy, Security, Sensors, Trust. |
