ÖZET<br/>Yürütülen bu çalışmada üniversite öğrencilerinin mükemmeliyetçilik, bilişsel esneklik <br/>ve beden memnuniyeti düzeylerinin ortoreksiya nervoza ile ilişkisinin incelenmesi <br/>amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya 229 kadın ve 69 erkek olmak üzere toplam 298 üniversite <br/>öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama sürecinde “Demografik Bilgi Formu”, <br/>“ORTO-11 Ölçeği”, “Frost Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği”, ‘’Beden <br/>Memnuniyeti Ölçeği’’ ve “Bilişsel Esneklik Envanteri” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen <br/>verilerin analiz sürecinde SPSS 22.0 programında Bağımsız Örnekler t test Analizi, <br/>Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi, Pearson Korelasyon Analizi ve Çoklu Doğrusal <br/>Regresyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda mükemmeliyetçiliğe ilişkin <br/>sadece düzen alt boyutunda kadın öğrencilerin düzen algısının erkek öğrencilerden <br/>anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olduğu görülmektedir (p<0.05). Toplam<br/>mükemmeliyetçilik ve diğer alt ölçek puanları, beden memnuniyeti, ON ve bilişsel <br/>esneklik düzeyi fiziksel aktivite yapma durumuna ve cinsiyete göre anlamlı düzeyde <br/>farklılaşmamıştır (p>0.05). Katılımcıların beden memnuniyetlerinin beden kütle <br/>indeksi değişkenine göre farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). <br/>Mükemmeliyetçiliğe ilişkin düzen, yaptığından emin olamama ve kişisel standartlar <br/>algıları ile ORTO-11 puanları arasında negatif yönde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı <br/>düzeyde ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0.05). Bunun yanında mükemmeliyetçilik (diğer <br/>alt boyutları ve toplam mükemmeliyetçilik), bilişsel esneklik ve beden memnuniyeti <br/>ile ortoreksiya nervoza düzeyleri arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olmadığı sonucuna <br/>ulaşılmıştır (p>0.05). ABSTRACT<br/>In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of university students’ <br/>perfectionism, cognitive flexibility and body satisfaction levels on orthorexia nervosa. <br/>A total of 298 university students, 229 women and 69 men, participated in the study. <br/>In the data collection process of the research, ‘Demographic Information Form’, <br/>‘Ortho-11 Scale’, ‘Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale’, ‘Body Satisfaction <br/>Scale’ and ‘Cognitive Flexibility Inventory’ were used. In the analysis process of the <br/>data obtained, Independent Samples t-test Analysis, One Way ANOVA analysis, <br/>Pearson Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis were used in <br/>SPSS 22.0 program. At the end of the study, it was seen that female students' <br/>perception of order was significantly higher than male students in only the order sub dimension of perfectionism (p<0.05). Total perfectionism and other subscale scores, <br/>body satisfaction, ON and cognitive flexibility levels did not differ significantly <br/>according to physical activity status and gender (p>0.05). It was determined that the <br/>body satisfaction of the participants differed according to the body mass index variable <br/>(p<0.05). It was found that there was a statistically significant negative correlation <br/>between the perceptions of perfectionism, being unsure of what one is doing, and <br/>personal standards and ortho-11 scores (p<0.05). In addition, it was concluded that <br/>there was no significant relationship between perfectionism (other sub-dimensions and <br/>total perfectionism), cognitive flexibility and body satisfaction and orthorexia nervosa <br/>levels (p>0.05). Perception of order, which is a sub-dimension of perfectionism, was <br/>found to significantly predict orthorexia nervosa (p<0.05).<br/>The findings obtained in the study were discussed in the light of the relevant literature <br/>and suggestions were made for future studies.<br/>Keywords: Body Satisfaction, Cognitive Flexibility, Orthorexia Nervosa Tendency,<br/>Perfectionism |
