'Özet Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil'in hikaye ve romanlarında süs ve süslenme Servet-i Fünun edebiyatının nesirdeki en büyük ismi olan Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil'in hikayeleri ve romanları ayrıntılı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Bu eserlerdeki "süs" ve "süslenme" unsurları, kadın süsü, erkek süsü, çocuk giyim ve kuşamı olmak üzere üç bölüme ayrılmıştır. Roman ve hikayelerde karşımıza çıkan "süs" ve "süslenme" unsurları alfabetik sırayla açıklanmış, tezin sonuna da araştırmamızı pekiştirmek için "Süs ve Süslenme Lügati" eklanmiştir. The "ornament" and "toilette" elements in these works of art are divided into three as "women ornament", "man ornament" and "children apparel." The "ornament" & "toilette" elements encounter in novels & stories were explained in alphabetical order and at the final of thesis a "dictionary" was added on "ornament" & "toilette".
