ABSTRACT<br/>As mankind grows, so does the world of consumerism, urbanisation, and industry, and <br/>this boom demography allows for a significant increase in the amount of waste being <br/>released into the environment. There is a serious ecological issue for human health <br/>because a number of these wastes include heavy contaminants and non-biodegradable <br/>substances. All of these heavy pollutants need thorough and adequate waste treatment <br/>before they are discharged into the environment. Recent years have seen the textile <br/>sector play a significant role and utilise a lot of colours.<br/>The volumes and quality of wastewaters from these industries are quite significant, <br/>necessitating an adequate treatment technique for their waste. In this investigation, <br/>ozone treatment will be used to break down AB113 (ozonation). For various studies, <br/>the dye was produced in a volumetric flask at a particular concentration and diluted <br/>with distilled water. When analysing a solution, the pH is adjusted by either adding <br/>HCl or NaOH. Without adjusting the pH, the entire assay is repeated thrice in order to <br/>stabilise the pH between 3 and 10.<br/>Samples of the AB 113 solution were taken during the experiment at various intervals <br/>(0–90 minutes), and they were then instantly analysed using UV/VIS <br/>spectrophotometry. It was discovered that AB113 degrades at a good pace for a while <br/>without modification (0–90 min). There was another improved removal rate when the <br/>pH was adjusted to 10 at the same duration (0-90 min) because of structural stability <br/>and the presence of hydroxyl radicals, which possess a higher oxidation potential <br/>compared to molecular ozone.
