Özet notu ABSTRACT<br/>Most women get breast cancer, 1.4 million cases are diagnosed annually worldwide. <br/>Zinc oxide nanoparticle biosynthesis of olive leaves is a popular traditional leave<br/>study. This study was aim to synthesised and characterised zinc oxide nanoparticles <br/>using Olea europaea L to test their cytotoxic impact on breast cancer cell lines MDAMB 231, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties on gram-negative and gram-positive <br/>bacteria. The GC-MS analysis shows that there are some bioactive compound presents<br/>in Olea europaea L and the UV spectra analysis indicated the spectrum with the peaks <br/>of 313, 285, 257, 227 and 201 nm with absorption respectively. The zeta size has <br/>shown a size of 86.14 nm with a charge of -12.64 mV X-RAY Diffraction (XRD) <br/>and the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR) has been used. The <br/>antioxidant result shows an antioxidant activity of the ZnO NPs and Zn against the free <br/>radicals while higher activity was recorded in Olea europaea L. The ZnO NPs, Zn and <br/>Olea europaea L against the six bacterial has shown a zone of inhibition for the <br/>following bacterial P. aeruginosa 29, E. coli 12, S. aureus 16, B. cereus 8, while the <br/>two bacterial E faecalis 0, Legionella pneumophila 0, has not indicated any zone of <br/>inhibition which has been found by other researcher of similar result E Faecalis, <br/>legionella pnenumophila. DMEM-grown MDA MB 231 cells for positive control were <br/>100% viable. After 24 hours of treatment, cell was reduced to 80%. The higher dose<br/>reduced cells from 100% to 80% and after 48-hour of incubation there was 68% of <br/>effects of ZnO NPs. Positive control of MDA MB 231 and DMEM as a media shown<br/>100% viability in 24-hour at the beginning, Minor influence seen in 24-hour cell death <br/>of 80%, while the positive control still maintains the cell viability at 100%. ZnO <br/>nanoparticles activity caused shrank, aggregated, deformed, adhered, and proliferated <br/>slower MDA MB 231 breast cancer cells as evident of Apoptosis and shrinkage <br/>indicate cell death. <br/>Keywords: Antibacterial, Anticancer Antioxidant, Breast Cancer and Olea europaea<br/>L
