ÖZET<br/>Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin öz-şefkat, bilişsel esneklik ve aleksitimi düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmış ve amaçsal örnekleme yöntemi esas alınmıştır. Araştırmaya toplamda 249 üniversite öğrencisi dahil edilmiştir ve ‘‘Google Forms’’ platformu üzerinden kişisel bilgi formu, Bilişsel Esneklik Envanteri, Öz-Şefkat Ölçeği Kısa Formu ve Toronto <br/>Aleksitimi Ölçeği katılımcılara sunulmuştur. Bu formlar sunulmadan önce katılımcılara bilgilendirme formu verilmiştir. Araştırma veri setinin normal dağılım göstermediği görülmüştür. Bu nedenle verilerin analizinde parametrik olmayan testler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre, kadın ve erkek üniversite öğrencileri arasında öz-şefkat, bilişsel esneklik ve aleksitimi düzeyleri anlamlı şekilde farklılaşmamaktadır. İlişkisel <br/>analiz sonuçlarına göre, aleksitimi değişkeni ile bilişsel esneklik toplam puanı ve alt boyutları ve öz şefkat değişkenleri arasında negatif yönlü ilişkiler tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca öz şefkat ile bilişsel esneklik toplam puanı ve alt boyutları arasında pozitif yönlü ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Çoklu regresyon analizi sonucuna göre, aleksitimi toplam puanı Bilişsel Esneklik Envanteri kontrol alt boyutu ve öz şefkat değişkeni tarafından negatif yönde ve anlamlı şekilde yordanmaktadır. Bu analize bilişsel esneklik toplam puanı ve alternatifler alt boyutu, çoklu bağlantısallık problemi nedeniyle dahil edilememiştir. Regresyon analizi sonucunda bağımsız değişkenlerin tamamının aleksitimi düzeyinin %37’sini açıkladığı görülmüştür. Araştırma sonuçları kavramsal ve kuramsal çerçeve içerisinde tartışılmış, literatürdeki diğer bulgularla karşılaştırılmış ve araştırmacılara, klinisyenlere ve devlete çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.<br/>Anahtar Kelimeler: Aleksitmi, Bilişsel Esneklik, Öz Şefkat |

ABSTRACT<br/>The purpose of this research is to examine the self-compassion, cognitive flexibility and alexithymia levels of university students. For this purpose, the relational screening model was used and the purposeful sampling method was taken as basis. A total of 249 university students were included in the research, and a personal information form, Cognitive Flexibility Inventory, Self-Compassion Scale Short Form and Toronto <br/>Alexithymia Scale were presented to the participants via the "Google Forms" platform. Before these forms were presented, an information form was given to the participants. It was observed that the research data set did not show a normal distribution. For this reason, non-parametric tests were used to analyze the data.<br/>According to the results of the research, self-compassion, cognitive flexibility and alexithymia levels do not differ significantly between male and female university students. According to the results of the relational analysis, negative relationships were detected between the alexithymia variable and the cognitive flexibility total score and its subdimensions and self-compassion variables. Additionally, positive relationships <br/>were found between self-compassion and cognitive flexibility total score and its subscales. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, alexithymia total score is negatively and significantly predicted by the Cognitive Flexibility Inventory control subscale and the self-compassion variable. Cognitive flexibility total score and alternatives subscale could not be included in this analysis due to multicollinearity problems. As a result of the regression analysis, it was seen that all independent variables explained 37% of the alexithymia level.The research results were discussed within a conceptual and theoretical framework, compared with other findings in the literature, and various suggestions were made to researchers, clinicians and the government.<br/>Keywords: Alexithymia, Cognitive Flexibility, Self-Compassion |
