Özet notu | Silver nanoparticles were produced using an efficient, eco-friendly, and biosynthetic<br/>method involving leaf extracts from Malva Sylvestris and Lantana Camara. The costeffective<br/>and eco-friendly process of synthesizing silver nanoparticles using plant<br/>extracts has attracted considerable interest. Silver nanoparticles were synthesized in<br/>this study by combining silver nitrate solution with aqueous and ethanolic leaf extracts,<br/>resulting in the reduction of Ag+ ions and the production of silver nanoparticles. The<br/>silver nanoparticles produced through biological synthesis were analyzed using several<br/>techniques. UV-Vis spectroscopy was used to detect the creation of silver<br/>nanoparticles, showing unique UV absorption peaks between 300 to 600 nm. The<br/>face-centered cubic structure of synthesized crystalline silver nanoparticles was<br/>confirmed using X-ray diffraction patterns, while SEM was utilized to analyze the<br/>morphology and size of the silver nanoparticles. Zeta potential is used to measure the<br/>surface charge and potential stability of silver nanoparticles in solution. To identify<br/>the functional groups responsible for NPs stabilization Fourier, transform infrared<br/>spectroscopy (FTIR) was used. These characterizations provide a thorough<br/>understanding of the physicochemical properties of biosynthesized silver<br/>nanoparticles. Their antibacterial and catalytic activities demonstrate their potential for<br/>diverse biomedical and environmental uses. The manufacture of silver nanoparticles<br/>by using leaf extracts from Malva Sylvestris and Lantana Camara is practical,<br/>environmentally beneficial, and serves as an alternative to conventional methods.<br/>The synthesized silver nanoparticles preparations demonstrate potential for use as<br/>broad-spectrum antibacterial agents and catalysts. This research contributes to the<br/>increasing knowledge on green production techniques for nanoparticles and their<br/>various uses |
