Özet notu | This work investigates the synthesis of aluminum nanoparticles (Al NPs) and their use to improve plant development and dehydroascorbic acid content in Abelmoschus esculentus (okra) utilizing plant extracts from olive and barley leaves. The emphasis on nanofertilizers arises from their promise to transform nutrient management in agriculture. Al NPs were generated from olive leaf and barley grass extracts in an environmentally sustainable manner. The synthesis parameters (such as reaction time, temperature, and concentration) were tuned to control the size and form of the nanoparticles. Sophisticated characterisation techniques were used to thoroughly analyze the structural and morphological characteristics of the generated Al NPs. X-ray diffraction (XRD) research proved the nanoparticles' crystalline nature while also providing information about their crystal structure and cleanliness. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) revealed the functional groups involved in the synthesis process, confirming the importance of plant extracts in nanoparticle formation. Nutrient release tests were carried out to thoroughly evaluate the efficiency of the manufactured Al NPs as nanofertilizers. These nanoparticles were then administered to okra plants in controlled conditions to determine their effect on growth metrics such as height, leaf area, and biomass accumulation. In addition, the amounts of dehydroascorbic acid, an essential antioxidant, were evaluated to assess the possible health advantages of treated plants. By addressing present agricultural concerns, the discoveries not only improve our knowledge of nanoparticle production mediated by olive leaf and barley grass extracts but also pave the way for the practical application of nanoparticles. |
