| Özet notu | This study looks into the intricate relationships that exist between the substance use tendencies, loneliness, and health issues of college students. Since moving to college comes with a lot of hurdles, developing effective intervention plans requires an understanding of the intricate dynamics influencing students' well-being. This research employs quantitative methodology to investigate a heterogeneous sample of college students, accounting for social networks, health, demography, and drug use patterns. The quantitative study's objective is to identify connections between drug usage patterns, health issues, and loneliness. Using statistical models, the study assesses how various health issues impact students' experiences of loneliness and how loneliness is linked to various forms of substance use among students. In this study, we discovered a significant correlation between the health issues, loneliness, and drug usage inclinations of college students. The findings indicated that compared to individuals who had never used drugs, those with a history of substance use felt much more alone (z = [1.58], p = [.017]. The findings demonstrated that there was no statistically significant difference in health issues and problems between students who had never used drugs and those who had a history of substance use (z = [1.586], p = [.113). By identifying significant risk factors and protective factors, the study seeks to provide guidance for the development of targeted interventions to assist college students' mental health and well-being |
