'ABSTRACT The risk of spreading of a financial crises from one country to another one has increased. Repeatıng huge amount of buy and sell of ınvestment ınstruments (herdıng behavior) took price movement to a very high level. As a result of this herding behavior, a crises which occurs in a country may easily jump up to another country which is free of problems. The formation period of November 2000 and February 2001 crises and the result after these crises constitute the subject of this project. In order to examine November 2000 and February 2001 crises, the formation period of the crises are considered in the first chapter of the study . the causes of the crises are examine in the second chapter in details. In the third chapter the development after crises are taken into consideration. In the conclusion part, with the guidance of former chapters the necessity of preventing November 2000 and February 2001 crises before their formation is taken into consideration instead of treating the crises that experienced in short intervals. ÖZET Finansal krizlerin bir ülkeden diğerlerine sıçrama riski artmıştır. Çok miktarlı ve ısrarlı alış-satışlar (ki buna herding behaviour, yani sürü davranışı deniliyor), fıyat hareketlerı çok üst seviyelere taşınmıştır. Sürü davranşşı neticesinde bir ülkede patlak verev bir kriz sürede sorunsuz bir ülkeye de sıçraybilmektedir. Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizlerinin oluşum süreçleri ve krizler sonrası ortaya çıkan sonuçlar bu çalışmanın Konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizlerinin incelenebilmesi amacıyla çalısanın birinci bölümünde Krizlerin oluşum süreçleri ele alınmaktadır. Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizlerinin nedenleri ise ikinci bölümde ayrıntılı olarak incelenmektedir. Üçüncü bölümde de Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizlerinden sonraki gelişmeleredikkat çekilmiştir. Sonuç bölümünde ise, önceki bölümlerde verilen bilgiler ışığında, Türkiye\'nin çok kısa aralıklara yaşamış olduğu Kasım 2000 ve Şubat 2000 ve Şubat 2001 Krizlerinin tedavisi yerine, Krizlerin oluşmadan önlenmesi Konusunun gerekliliği üzerinde durulmaktadır.
