Konu(lar): Özet: ' ABSTRACT This study examines the perceived effects of corporate strategy on capital structure in the context of manufacturing firms in KRGNI. The undertaking of this study was primarily motivated by the need to enhance consensus about the role, contribution and effectiveness of corporate strategy towards capital stucture. The study employed an Ordinary Least Squares Regression method to examine the linkage between corporate strategy and capital structure . This was based on 150 questionnaires responses that were collected from Erbil Steel Company in Kurdistan Government of Northern Iraq. The results from the study indicated that capital structure is positively linked with effective corporate strategy and that profitability , size determinants of the firm, risk exposure and management and institutional ownership factors have also positive implications on capital structure.
