Konu(lar): Özet: 'ABSTRACT Physical and data security available in our every area of life in the field of industry job to our personal jobs and even entertainment purposes as well. The computer machines communicate each other in order to make transaction of data in encrypted way to avoid data being stolen by the attackers. Encryption methods could be applied easier and faster on traditional computer systems with powerful processors to secure the data. There are also new systems available which are mobile and IoT devices to make almost everything easier in our life. They are less powerful when compared with traditional computers that have low energy, limited hardware resources usage such as processors, memory and storage. The speed result of the secure communication is not enough so far with limited hardware resources. So, the main aim of this work is to use crypto engines which have been introduced in some processors to increase the efficiency of data security. When these crypto engines used in mobile and IoT processors, the expectation from the engine is to decrease the ciphering time as possible minimum time and increase the efficiency of this system usage. Therefore, in this work; performance of the crypto engines will be evaluted which are available in either mobile or IoT device processors. Key words: Cryptography; crypto extensions; crypto engines.'
