'In this project, definition of motivation along with its historical development and importance in human resources administration, motivation theories and tools increasing motivation in organizations are examined. In the research results of a motivation evaluation questionnaire applied to personnel working in a five star hotel is evaluated and suggestions of the solution for improving motivation level at that enterprise, thus towards increase of productivity and effectiveness are presented. In the research, questionnaire prepared to note the present motivation level of personnel and their preferences about morale and motivation, their personal qualities is utilized. Special care is shown that questions of the questionnaire are understandable and can be answered by attendants easily. From the 150 questionnaire papers, 102 of them are returned and the return rate of questionnaires is 68%. As the result of questionnaire showed, it is noted that it is necessary to increase the success and effectiveness of organization, necessary measures should be applied areas of performance evaluation and payment system applied in organization and using initiative, attending to decisions. '
