' It can be disregarded that following World War II, it cannot be disregarded that to consider the following important realities: transformations realized by societies, continuous turning of the axes of capitalism as a result of the industrial revolution, the continuation of the hegemony of the imperial states and multi-national companies, the presence of stepwise transfer of the mentioned world order. In the international political arena, it is indeed a fact that the central states, with the help of the economic power they possess, easily orientated the futures of the people living on geographies they possess a power of influence and on geographies they constructed by certain strategies. Within the scope of this project, at a Middle East that has become a target of political games due to its geopolitical position; the following issues will try to be explained in detail: • The establishment of the Baas Party, which started in the beginning as a political movement and later transformed into a political party, - Establishment and historical development of the Baas Party, - Domestic and foreign variables that were the pros and cons of the Baas Party during the reigning process, -The philosophical and economic movement affecting the Baas Party, - Targets, realizations, non-realizations of the Baas Party, - The relations and gains of the Baas Party with the neighboring countries. When the foreign policy of the Baas Party is examined, it is clearly observed that the relations with the USSR was of utmost importance and were realized with priority at the countries where it was born and where it was influential. When the relations of the Baas Party with the USSR is examined, socialism as a social movement hiding behind the ideology of Baas was assed in detail and the characteristics of the Baas socialism differing from Socialism and Marxism were stressed. The past, formation process, political structuring, reigning process and the foreign policies within this process of the Baas ideology, encountered in the countries dreaming of an Arab Union in the Middle East, should be considered in detail and in an informative manner. The evaluation of the said issues is in the form of accountancy of the Baas belief within the scope of correct actions and mistakes, rather than trying to develop a model. Any kind of solution for the problems of encountered with the Baas ideology is not forwarded within the scope of this project. The subject of solution is left to the experts and only a chronological situation evaluation is forwarded. Within the scope of this project, especially Baas ideology and its appearance at Iraq and Syria was assessed in detail. In addition, reasons behind the failure of the Baas ideology at the Iraq and Syria examples are forwarded. '
