ABSTRACT Steel bracing systems and RC frames in construction technology are used to provide support, stiffness, and stability to the building for resistance during earthquakes and seismic forces. The integration of technology in construction engineering to examine the behavior of RC frames rehabilitated with steel bracing has enhanced the safety and security in construction activities that involve complex buildings. The steel bracing strengthening and retrofitting weak or seismically inadequate RC frames is a reliable solution for supporting earthquake and seismic forces resistances. Metal (steel) bracing is cheap, easy to design, and erect beside it occupies a small space while allowing flexibility to allow desired stiffness. The study methodology, findings, and analysis of data use the ETABS software tool; ETABS refers to Extended Three-Dimensional Analysis of Building System, a structural design and analysis software capable of handling large scale seismic projects where non-linear modeling is preferred. The frames' analysis is done without bracing and later with all forms of bracing, leading to the analysis of three different models and comparing them using nonlinear finite elements ETABS software. Moreover, evaluation and comparison of seismic base shear, lateral displacement, and story drift of braced frames with bare frames to examine and determine the percentage of story drift and lateral displacement, besides it increasing the seismic base shear and base moment capacity after applying all bracing systems. It is used in designing and seismic analysis of high-rise buildings (G+39) of 40 floors. Moreover, using the ETABS software to analyze RC (RC) irregular building I-shaped with various bracing systems, three models were designed and created to depict various structural system types ( Bare Frames , X-bracing, Shear wall) where located for zone A2 located structures. The advantage of using the ETABS software tool is that it is very user-friendly and versatile.
