ABSTRACT The study examined the impact of Information Communication Technology in enhancing organizational commitment on employee productivity: A case study of selected commercial banks (Access bank, First Bank, Guarantee Trust Bank, Union Bank and Zenit Bank) in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Using primary data generated from named banks in Jos. Descriptive statistics, regression analysis, structural equation modeling techniques and The Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) were carried out with the aid of SPSS version 20 and SPSS AMOS version 26. The regression results based on the three hypotheses set shown a positive and significant relationship between information communication technology and employee productivity with the coefficient of 0.396 and sig value of 0.000 and the coefficient of determination, R2 stood at 0.725. The regression result affirmed that employee productivity had been encouraged with the coefficient of 0.071 and Sig.F change of 0.000. More so, the Structural model equation shown positive and significant relationship between the latent and exogenous variable. In addition, the covariance results affirmed a Positive and significant relationship between organizational commitment and employee productivity, a positive and significant relationship between organizational and information communication technology and employee productivity and information communication technology also had positive and significant relationship. While the absolute fit result shown that the model fitted the data as it was revealed by the probability value of the chi-square (0.000). Furthermore, The Exploratory factor analysis (EFA)affirmed that the variable was adequate and highly correlated and useful as revealed by KMO's value of 0.923 and the Bartlett's sig value of 0.000. The Cronbach's Alpha with the value of 0.975 revealed that the factors were excellently reliable. However, it was affirmed that organizational commitments have not enhanced employees' productivity as revealed by the sig. value of 0.456 which was greater than 0.05. In view of this, the paper recommended that the use of information communication technology should be maintained and sustained in selected commercial banks in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria for better employee productivity. it was recommended that employee should put extra effort to the success of the organization. it was also recommended that employees should be totally loyal to his/her organization and I understand how his/her job contributes to the organization's goals and objectives and lastly, organization should encourage the employee to be creative and innovative to meet the needs of their customers among others.
