Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Information Technologies Department Özet: ABSTRACT One of the most essential factors in resolving the problem of copyright infringement, illegal modification, and distribution of intellectual property is the originality of digital content. Watermarking can help with these issues. The process of digital watermarking involves embedding a watermark signal into a cover content, also known as original content. Digital watermarking algorithms must improve as the internet grows and technology advances in order to safeguard content from unauthorized modifications and attacks that are always being invented. In this study, a robust non-blind image watermarking system based on a hybrid DWT-SVD (Discrete wavelet Transform with Singular Value Decomposition) is studied and compared to DCT-SVD (Discrete Cosine Transform with Singular Value Decomposition) in this research. The effect of increasing the watermark strength in the cover image was analyzed to test for imperceptibility and resistance. After examining the strengths and limitations of the two algorithms in question, they were exposed to a variety of attacks.
