ÖZET
Bu çalışmanın amacı özel eğitim gerektiren çocuğa sahip ailelerin cinsel eğitime
yönelik tutumları ile toplumsal cinsiyet algıları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir.
Çalışmada nicel yöntemlerden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın
örneklem grubunu 2021-2022 yılı Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Milli Eğitim ve
Kültür Bakanlığı’na bağlı özel eğitim okullarında eğitim gören çocuğa sahip aileler
(191 aile) oluşturmuştur. Katılımcıların bir kısmına çocuklarının eğitim gördüğü
kurumlara gidilerek, bir kısmına ise Google formları aracılığıyla elektronik ortamlarda
çevrimiçi olarak ulaşılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında kişisel bilgi formu, Cinsel
Eğitime Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısı Ölçeğinden
faydalanılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin tümü SPSS 26.0 Windows paket programı ile
analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular özel eğitim gerektiren çocuğa sahip
ailelerin cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumlarının olumlu yönde olduğu, toplumsal cinsiyet
algı düzeylerinin ise olumlu ve eşitlikçi olduğu yönündedir. Özel eğitim gerektiren
çocuğa sahip ailelerin cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumlarının cinsiyet, medeni durum,
eğitim durumu, aylık hane geliri, cinsel eğitim ile ilgili eğitim alıp/almama, ailenin
cinsel eğitime yönelik bakış açısı değişkenleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde farklılıklara
rastlanırken, yaş ve çevresinde cinsel istismara uğramış birey olup/olmama
değişkenlerinde herhangi bir farklılaşmaya rastlanmamıştır. Özel eğitim gerektiren
çocuğa sahip ailelerin toplumsal cinsiyet algıları cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim
durumu, aylık hane geliri değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı düzeyde farklılığa
rastlanırken, yaş, cinsel eğitim ile ilgili eğitim alıp/almama, çevrede cinsel istismara
uğrayan birinin olup/olmaması, ailenin cinsel eğitime yönelik bakış açısı değişkenleri
bakımından anlamlı bir farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Özel eğitim gerektiren çocuğa sahip
ailelerin cinsel eğitime yönelik tutumları ile toplumsal cinsiyet algıları arasında pozitif
yönlü ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between gender perceptions and
attitudes towards sexual education of families with children requiring special
education. In the study, relational screening model was used from quantitative
methods. In the research group of the study, 191 families whose children were
educated in special education schools, under the Ministry of National Education and
Culture of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2021-2022. Some of the
participants joined to the research at the institutions where their children are educated
and some of them were joined online electronically through Google forms. In this
study, data collection personal information form, attitude scale towards sexual
education and gender perception scale were used. All of the data obtained from the
families participating in the research were analysed with SPSS 26.0 for Windows
package program. The results obtained from the study are; the attitudes of families
with children requiring special education towards sexual education are positive, while
gender perception levels are positive and egalitarian. While significant differences
were found according to the gender, marital status, educational status, monthly total
salary income, whether received sexual education or not and the family's perspective
on sexual education. No differentiation was found in the variables of individuals
whether sexually abused or not and according to their age. While there was a
significant difference in gender perceptions of families with children requiring special
education in terms of gender, marital status, educational status, monthly total salary
income, there was no significant difference in terms of age and whether or not to have
sexual education, also whether there was someone neighborhood who is abused
sexually and the family's perspective on sexual education. It was determined that there
was a positive and statistically significant correlation between the attitudes towards
sexual education and gender perceptions of families with children requiring special
education.
