ABSTRACT
The goal of this study is to investigate the protections provided by international human rights legislation to refugees, asylum seekers, and others who have been forcefully relocated. The goal of the global rights framework is to provide all human beings with a specified set of rights, shifting the ground for normative entitlement away from state membership and toward a shared humanity. Additionally, this paper aims to demonstrate the reasons that force refugees to seek asylum, as well as the rights and responsibilities stipulated by agreements and international conventions, to increase the number of countries interested in this subject, as well as increase refugee awareness of their rights and responsibilities. Furthermore, this thesis aims at finding mismatch between the legal protection of refugee under international law and its actual implementation on the ground. The methodology used in this research is inductive, analytical, and discursive method to attain the research's aims and answer the question of the research by referring to legal publications and studies that dealt with this issue. The findings indicate a number of factors which would appear to affect the successful implementation of refugee international law, for example, the outdate of 1951 convention is noticed.
