Alcain Blue has been discovered to be helpful in determining protein based, bacteria staining, histochemical and electrophoretic staining, as well as a dye for fibroblasts. The decolourization of reactive dye solution was investigated in this work using ferrous and heat activated persulfate in water at three different temperatures (40°C, 60°C, and 80°C) of heat persulfate and dye/ferrous/persulfate ratios (1:1, 1:2:1, 1:1:1/2, and 1:4:1) within different intervals of time (0, 10, 30, 60, and 90mins). AB8GX concentration was observed at 50 mg/L at ambient pH The findings demonstrated that increasing temperature and persulfate concentration was beneficial for dye degradation, with decolourization efficiencies as high as 91% observed at 80°C temperature after 90 minutes of reaction at pH 3.
