Institute of Graduate Studies and Research Education For Mental Disabilities Department Özet: ÖZET Bu araştırma hafif düzey zihin yetersizliği olan bireylerin görüşlerine göre aile kavramı ve aile ilişkileri hakkında bilgi edinmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel bir çalışma olan, olgu bilim deseni ile düzenlenmiştir. Hazırlanan görüşme sorularının uygulandığı, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler planlanarak yürütülmüştür. Görüşme soruları üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde katılımcı ile ilgili bilgiler, ikinci bölümde katılımcının ailesi ile ilgili bilgiler ve üçüncü bölümde de katılımcının aile kavramı ve aile ilişkilerine yönelik görüşlerinin belirleneceği görüşme soruları yer almaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu oluşturulurken öncelikle 13-17 yaş arasında olan 20 tane hafif düzey zihin yetersizliği olan bireye aile izin formu gönderilmiştir. 15 tane 13-17 yaş arası hafif düzey zihin yetersizliği olan bireyin aile izin formunda çalışmaya katılımına izin verilmiştir. Araştırma verileri hazırlanan görüşme sorularının sıra ile sorularak yapılan görüşmelerdeki ses kayıtları ile toplanmıştır. Öncelikle ses kayıtları yazılı dokümanlara dönüştürülmüş ve ses kayıtları ile yazılı dokümanların güvenirliği test edilmiştir. Katılımcıların verdiği cevaplara göre bulgular elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular kodlara ayrılarak alt temalar oluşturulmuş ve tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Bu araştırmanın sonucunda hafif düzey zihin yetersizliği olan bireylerin görüşüne göre aile kavramı ve aile ilişkilerinin kendi bakış açılarına göre nasıl olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hafif düzey zihin yetersizliği olan bireylerin aileyi nasıl tanımladığı, aile bireyleriyle neler yaptığı, ailede anlaşmakta zorlandığı kişinin olup olmadığı, eğer anlaşamadığı biri varsa hangi konularda anlaşamadığı ve hayal ettiği aile hakkı bilgi edinilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda ortaya çıkan bulgular alan yazın incelenerek tartışılmış ve bu doğrultuda önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Özet: ABSTRACT This research was carried out in order to obtain information about the concept of family and family relations according to the views of individuals with mild intellectual disability. This study was organized with the phenomenology pattern, which is a qualitative study. Semi-structured interviews, in which the prepared interview questions were applied, were planned and carried out. Interview questions, it is designed in three parts. In the first part, there is information about the participant, in the second part, information about the participant's family, and in the third part, there are interview questions to determine the participant's views on the concept of family and family relations. While forming the study group of the research, firstly, family consent forms were sent to 20 individuals with mild intellectual disability between the ages of 13-17. 15 individuals with mild intellectual disability between the ages of 13- 17 were allowed to participate in the study in the form of family consent. The research data were collected through the audio recordings of the interviews made by asking the prepared interview questions in order. First of all, audio recordings were converted into written documents and the reliability of audio recordings and written documents was tested. Findings were obtained according to the answers given by the participants. The findings were divided into codes and sub-themes were formed and presented in tables. As a result of this research, it has been determined how the concept of family and family relations are according to the view of individuals with mild intellectual disability. Information was obtained about how individuals with mild intellectual disability define the family, what they do with their family members, whether there is a person in the family with whom they have difficulty in getting along, if there is someone with whom they disagree, on which subjects they cannot agree and about the family they dream of. The findings that emerged as a seen at the end of the study were discussed by examining the literature and suggestions were made in this direction.
