Institute of Graduate Studies and Research communication and Media Studies Department Özet: ÖZET Çocuğa yönelik cinsel istismar ile ilgili oluşan toplumsal hareketlerin incelenmesi amacıyla çıkılan bu araştırmanın yolunda, öncelikle çocuk kavramı, çocukluğa verilen değer ve çocuğun korunması ile ilgili literatür incelenmektedir. Çocuğun ve çocukluğun öneminin toplumsal boyutta olduğu gözler önüne serildiğinde çocuğa yönelik verilebilecek en sarsıcı şiddetin, cinsel istismarın hukuki boşluklar ve cezasız bırakılacak yaptırımlar ile meşrulaştırmak söz konusu olduğunda toplumun nasıl tepki verdiği temel soru olmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Çocuk İstismarı ile Mücadele Hareketi kapsamında yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin yol açtığı dijital imza kampanyalarının toplumsal hareketlilik çerçevesi bu araştırmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında Çocuk istismarı anahtar kelimesi ile Change.org platformunda ilgili başlıklardaki kampanyalar kampanyayı başlatan kişinin cinsiyeti, kadınların başlattığı kampanyaların başlık analizi, erkeklerin başlattığı kampanyaların başlık analizi, kampanyanın muhatabı ve yıllara göre kampana oranları kriter olarak belirlenerek incelenmektedir. Çocuk İstismarı ile Mücadele hareketinin Change.org üzerinden oluşturulan dijital imza kampanyası merkezinde sürecin nasıl işlendiği ortaya konacaktır. When the significance of the child and childhood on a societal level is brought to the forefront, the fundamental question becomes how society responds when the most devastating form of violence against a child, sexual abuse, is legitimized through legal loopholes and unpunished sanctions. In this context, this research focuses on the framework of societal movements generated by digital signature campaigns brought about by new communication technologies within the scope of the Child Abuse Prevention Movement. Within the scope of this research, campaigns on the Change.org platform related to the keyword "child abuse" are examined based on criteria such as the gender of the campaign initiator, title analysis of campaigns initiated by women, title analysis of campaigns initiated by men, the target of the campaign, and campaign ratios by year. The study will elucidate how the process unfolds at the center of the digital signature campaign created for the Child Abuse Prevention Movement through Change.org. ÖZET
Çocuğa yönelik cinsel istismar ile ilgili oluşan toplumsal hareketlerin incelenmesi
amacıyla çıkılan bu araştırmanın yolunda, öncelikle çocuk kavramı, çocukluğa verilen
değer ve çocuğun korunması ile ilgili literatür incelenmektedir.
Çocuğun ve çocukluğun öneminin toplumsal boyutta olduğu gözler önüne serildiğinde
çocuğa yönelik verilebilecek en sarsıcı şiddetin, cinsel istismarın hukuki boşluklar ve
cezasız bırakılacak yaptırımlar ile meşrulaştırmak söz konusu olduğunda toplumun
nasıl tepki verdiği temel soru olmaktadır.
Bu bağlamda Çocuk İstismarı ile Mücadele Hareketi kapsamında yeni iletişim
