Prior until now, the UK was one of the EU's more well-known members. Since the U.K.'s referendum on leaving the EU in June 2016, there has been nearly daily speculative discussion, analysis, and commentary on the post-exit arrangements that could be applicable to trade between the U.K. and the EU. Brexit supporters have asserted a variety of things to support their case that the U.K. will gain from having more control over its trade policy and partner selection. The U.K. does benefit from not being a part of the EU, but the plans for what will happen after the U.K. leaves were left un-discussed. This paper seeks to explore why Brexit happened, what some of its main causes were, and how it has affected both the U.K. and the EU since then. This paper will also discuss post-covid19 arrangements between them, all while providing a critical analysis at the conclusion. Keywords: Brexit, Covid 19, European Union, Trade, United Kingdom

ABSTRACT
The relationship between the United Kingdom (U.K.) and the European Union (EU) has been the topic of much discussion since their split.
