The influx of foreign investments has been negatively impacted by numerous crimes that have been drawn by this boom, particularly cybercrime. It is appropriate and quite important to offer certain questions that will help us provide more information for future generations. Has the pace of foreign investment been affected by the rise in cybercrime? Is there a link between cybercrime and the decline in foreign investment, especially in recent years, in Nigeria? Can we claim that the negative consequences of cybercrime have slowed national growth as a consequence? The conceptual examination of the detrimental impact of cybercrimes on Foreign Investment serves as the foundation for this project. The rate of cybercrime is rising along with the development of technology. Criminals operating online always stay current with new technology. Technology does indeed contribute to cybercrime, but we do not have to accept this; instead, we may take significant action. As a result, Nigeria's foreign investment policies ought to be designed to encourage and facilitate the influx of foreign capital investments through sound economic policies. ABSTRACT
Nigeria, one of the nations designated as developing countries, has been doing so since the middle of the 1990s.
