In the city, founded in the 11th century BC, the influence of various civilizations is still seen today. The ancient city of Salamis had an important cultural and commercial position in history, as can be seen especially after the excavations of the Roman period. The incredible richness that exists in terms of cultural heritage, the archaeological studies and excavations carried out offer essential information about the culture and history that exists under the ruins of the ancient city. Important structures such as the theater, Roman baths, Gymnasium, Agora, and basilica, which are among the facilities
of the Roman period, have carried the past appearance, social structures, and architectural styles of the ancient city to the present day. In this study, visuals and information about the relevant buildings are included. The ancient city also has great value as a public open space. Wide open spaces, roads, and green spaces allow visitors and locals to have a pleasant time. At the same time, through public open spaces, social interaction, and the gathering of different segments of society are encouraged. Visitors and locals can walk, bike, picnic, and spend time with children on the wide paths provided by the ancient city. Topics such as reuse, physical attachment (place rootedness), functional value, emotional- symbolic meaning, place identity, physical appearance, sociality, uses and activity, comfort and image ensure the sustainability and value of the ancient city of Salamis and its transfer to future generations. This study examined the potential and current situation of the ancient city of Salamis in related subjects and collected
valuable data about future management and usage conditions. The main reasons for this study are the suggestions for the preservation and
