ABSTRACT
This thesis delves into the relationship between Green Marketing Orientation (GMO) and competitive advantage in North Cyprus' construction industry. As environmental concerns and market competition escalate, understanding how green marketing influences competitive positioning becomes paramount. The study investigates the impacts of strategic, tactical, and internal GMO on competitive advantage, guided by a comprehensive theoretical framework including Institutional Theory, Stakeholder Theory, Natural Resource-Based View, and Corporate Social Responsibility. The research hypothesizes that strategic GMO positively correlates with competitive advantage, underlining the potential gains from eco-friendly strategies. Additionally, the study suggests that both internal and tactical GMO play moderating roles, enhancing the link between strategic GMO and competitive advantage. This research contributes to the understanding of how green marketing orientation influences the construction industry's competitive landscape, offering insights applicable to North
Cyprus and beyond.
