Subsequently, Nigeria’ is one of the key developing nations to’ be’ chosen for’ the’ execution of’ the’ EU’ migrant partnership’ frame work (MPF). Notwithstanding, The MPF is fizzling due to diverse benefits and interest among the EU’ and Nigeria’. So, this study is carried out to examine the impact of politics on migration of women and children using Nigeria as a case study. The study employs thematic and content analysis approach including the use of the library research technique to deal with surveying the impact of politics on migration of women and children: a case study of Nigeria. And by using theory of relative deprivation, this study shows that there is a relationship between politics and migration of women and children in Nigeria. Although some scholars like Archin-Sam (2019) said that migration is not necessarily a political driven issue. But most authors such as Lawal (2020); Nwogwugwu & Irechukwu (2015) among others believe that politics is one of the key factor for migration of women and children in Nigeria. The study revealed two major factors as the cause of the migration of women and children in Nigeria which are push factors and pull factors.
