Due to the increasing concerns regarding the environment and the impact of human activities, sustainability has been a topic of interest among scholars in various disciplines, including but not limited to interior design. This study aims to integrate sustainability principles and techniques into practical works and designs. In this respect, the context of this research emphasizes a comprehensive implementation of sustainability-related content in the interior design education system. The main method of the study is based on the combination of qualitative (descriptive and analytical) and comparative approaches, in such a way that descriptive and analytical data are obtained by the method of observing and navigating documents through published books and articles related to the subject of the article. In this regard, the collected data are shown in the table of sustainability-level results and are compared with the curriculum of Cyprus International University. This study emphasizes the importance of learning activities, the curriculum of the educational system, and sustainable interior design strategies embedded among the courses and an encouraging atmosphere for interior design students, where sustainability is regarded as a significant subject. Hence, the findings of this research can be beneficial for academicians interested in the subject as well as practitioners in universities and interior design faculties.
