'ABSTRACT In today's competitive and changing world, learning is a fundamnetal key for the most succesful organzations. Therefore, efforts of transforming organizations into "learning organization" have been constantly carried out for the last deacades and employees were seen as an intergral part of thşs renovation to view beyond their own organizational walls for ideas and support. The research was aimed at examining the Perceptions of Learning Organization Practicies; Empirical Study in Dr. Burhan State Hospital at Turkish Republic of northern Cyprus. A total of hundred and twenty employees consisting of sixty nurces, sventy laboratory technicians and thirty one white collar workers participated in the research. The research adapted DLOQ measuring seven main magnitudes of LOPs to study the perception of LOPs to improve organizational performance namely; creatring continius learning opptrtunities, promoting inquiry and dialogue, encouraging collaboration and team learning, establishing systems to capture and share learning, empowering people toward a collective vision, connecting the organization to its environment, and startejik leadership to support learning. The research findings indicated the perceptions and application of some LDPs in the hospital, as well as gaps thet necessiate proposing suitable recommendations for future actions. Likewise, the research contributes to our understanding of how healthcare organizations can be transferred into LO and its impact on overall organizational performance. Finally, the current study learned prior research supporting the impact of perception of LOPs on organizational practices and at the same time adding evidence to the view that practice of LO dimensions improve organizational performance.
