'ABSTRACT Employee participation in organizational decision making process is widely advocated for as many organizations are being to fully appreciate employee participation in decision making process given the high rate of multi - national organizational of goals in outsourcing. It can be taken as an engagement teqnique work for workers with countries with with different cultures and economies. It is aimed at mapping out the impact of employee participation in decision making and hospitalproductivity in Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano, Nigeria; to find out whether employee participation in decision making has an effect on hospital productivity and to find out the level of influence employee participation in desicion making has on hospityal productivity. A sample of (297) of the respondents were extracted from (1,213) the total population of staff of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano from different department by random sample techniques. Different kind of data analyses techniques were performed to measure the impact of employee participation in decision making in general, their contribution, involvement, rejection, non - envolvement in decision making process. Since the calculated F-value is less than the critical F-value; that is, 1.152<1.530, the result revesled that there is no significant impact of employee participation in decision making process, but intermediate and junior workers are only contributing in their skills and ideas in their specific working place but not in term of decision making process. Managers especially directors are not willing to share decision making power with in employees. And therefore levels of education , working experience, age of the workers are not recognized in as far as junior or intermediated worker.
