The study of organizational culture has seen various dimensions emerged. The study shall examine the relationship between organizational culture and employee retention. This study applied a simple and a random sample technique with regards to the process of data collection. The study made use of questionnaires and these questionnaires were derived from past studies. The questionnaires were distributed at the ending days of May, 2020 and the data were collected in Abuja where the city experienced a partial lockdown of activities. 359 filled and returned questionnaires were available by 16th June, 2020. The main findings of the study revealed that the process of introducing hires to their job greatly improves the processes of knowledge transfer and improve the chances of the employee committing to the organization. In the same vein, introducing new ideas in the organization will help knowledge to be transferred from one employee to another as well as from one sector of the organization to another. It will also enhance the chances of employees to believe in the organization and see it as a place where they can better their career paths, hence, improving their commitment.
