With the advent of the term "conflict among employees," corporate and military organizations began to investigate its function in affecting social culture for decades. Moreover, actual studies linking this notion to higher education systems will be examined further. The authors use thematic synthesis to examine the literature on conflict within and between workforces in higher education through two contextual lenses: understanding the causes of conflicts; reviewing the implications of conflicts on organizational culture and employee morale. Bridging such a gap will aid in the development of behavioral interventions aimed at improving professionals' factual independence and, as a result, making conflict of interest management easier. The major takeaway for professional accounting firms and regulators from this synthesized research is that behavioral interventions should be influenced by both implicit (automated process) and explicit (regulated) mental processes in order to effectively manage conflict of interests. This is one of the studies to look at conflict of interest in an accounting profession setting via the lens of behavioral managing risk. Furthermore, the approach used to analyze the existing research gives a comprehensive picture of the problems associated with inefficient conflict management. Conflict takes place regularly in any workplace, including health care. Negative outcomes include ineffective collaboration, lower patient satisfaction, and higher personnel turnover. Conflict resolution skills training has been shown to improve cooperation, efficiency, and patient and company’s needs in studies. There are strategies for dealing with a disruptive physician, which is a particularly tough conflict situation in healthcare.
