Institute of Graduate Studies and Research International Law Department; Includes bibliography (sheets 41-45) N2 - ABSTRACT This study will show the details of the justice system, the part the jury has played in it, and to further understand why the jury has been an integral part of the justice procedure in the past and present and if it will be same in the future. The significance of this study is to broaden readers’ knowledge and understanding on the achievements of this institution and how valuable it is in the achievement of justice. It will in addition shed more light on its history, its importance at present and in the future if there are any. Based on the research findings, it may suggest that the system be maintained as a result of its importance in achieving justice. Provisional solutions will suggest means to better the system for the future by correcting the wrongs and crises that exist in the system. In addition to better understanding how jurors work, suggestion on various ways to keep the justice system running as a trustworthy system and to make it better with specific focus on the jury. Other suggestions are to improve jurors’ understanding of their responsibilities in order for them to provide a better verdict; by first understanding juror misunderstandings in order to provide appropriate solutions.
