Bu araştırmada, evli bireylerin bağlanma boyutları, duygularını ifade etmeleri ve 
evlilik doyumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya Türkiye 
Cumhuriyeti’nde yaşayan 388 evli birey katılmıştır. Bu kişilere kartopu örnekleme 
yoluyla ulaşılmıştır. Veri toplama aşamasında katılımcılara sırasıyla Sosyodemografik
Bilgi Formu, Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri II, Duygularını İfade Etme Ölçeği 
ve Evlilik Yaşamı Ölçeği uygulanmıştır ve yapılan analizler SPSS 26 ile analiz 
edilmiştir. Araştırmada demografik değişkenler (cinsiyet, çalışma durumu, yaş, eğitim 
düzeyi, eşin eğitim düzeyi, evlenme biçimi, evlenilen yaş, evlilik süresi, çocuk sayısı, 
hayatları boyunca yapılan evlilik sayısı, yaşanılan yer) ile bağlanma alt boyutları, 
duyguları ifade etme alt boyutları ve evlilik doyumu düzeyleri arasında anlamlı 
sonuçlar bulunmuştur. Bağlanmanın ve duyguları ifade etmenin evlilik doyumunu 
yordadığı sonucu elde edilmiştir. Evlilik doyumunun yordanması; kaçınma alt 
boyutları tarafından negatif ve olumlu duyguları ifade etme alt boyutları tarafından 
pozitif yöndedir. Fakat; kaygı alt boyutları, yakınlık ve olumsuz duyguları ifade etme
alt boyutlarının bir etkisi olmadığı bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda, ileride 
yapılacak olan çalışmalara faydalı olabilecek öneriler verilmiştir.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between attachment 
dimensions of married individuals, their emotional expressions and their marital 
satisfaction. 388 people participated in the survey. During the data collection phase, 
the Sociodemographic Information Form, the Experiences in Close Relationships 
Inventory II, the Expression of Emotions Scale, and the Marriage Life Scale were 
applied to the participants and the data was analyzed with SPSS 26. As a result of the 
findings obtained, significant results were found in demographic variables (gender, 
employment status, age, education level, spouse's education level, marriage type, age 
at marriage, duration of marriage, number of children, number of marriages throughout 
their lives, place of residence), attachment sub-dimensions, emotion expression subdimensions and marital satisfaction levels. According to the findings obtained; It was 
concluded that attachment and expressing emotions predicted marital satisfaction. 
Prediction of marital satisfaction; It was negatively by the avoidance sub-dimensions 
and positively by the expressing positive emotions sub-dimensions. But; It was found 
that the sub-dimensions of anxiety, intimacy and expressing negative emotions had no 
effect. As a result of the research, suggestions were made that may be useful for future 
studies.
