ABSTRACT
The interconnectedness between the nations of the world continues to deepen and values,
ideologies, and ways of life rob one another. Since it is impossible for any nation to solely
thrive without relating with the world at large, the globalization of politics is an important
concept that relates to every independent country. The study focuses on comparing the
impacts of political globalization in Nigeria and Ghana majorly because they both share
similarities in their history ranging from the time they got independence to the problem of
leadership common to them and the interventions of transnational actors in their respective
countries about the same period which however yielded different results.
