<br/><br/> ABSTRACT<br/>The construction industry has seen quite a spectacular transformation. To improve the <br/>living environment, engineers are always seeking compliance for the users of its <br/>infrastructures so that people feel safe and enjoy their properties. With the evolution <br/>of science and technology, recently another type of house construction is in sight; it is <br/>the construction of modular house.<br/>Having a house that meets personal criteria remains a challenge and a dream for <br/>everyone. This study aims to compare modular house with conventional reinforced <br/>concrete house through, the bill of quantities, considering the work planning schedule <br/>used by Ms Project and construction cost.<br/>The construction cost was carried out to know which of these constructions is more <br/>expensive. It was done through a bill of quantities calculation and unit prices. The <br/>work planning schedule was performed to compare, which is the most favorable in <br/>terms of duration and task management. On the cost and duration of construction, the <br/>modular house is a good choice, despite the fact that it has a high risk of damage during <br/>transport to the site. The conventional house, despite its cost, duration of construction, <br/>and high demand for resources materials, and humans, is an advantageous investment<br/>since it is, more durable, more aesthetically pleasing, and many factors.<br/>Keywords: bill of quantities, conventional house, cost-benefit analysis, modular house, <br/>prefabrication.
