The energy resources assessed are wind and solar energy. The main aim is to assess the feasibility and economic viability of these energy resources, as potential energy sources for a hybrid energy system that can provide a sustainable energy source for rural communities in Northern Cyprus. The data used for this assessment are from NASA. The project also discussed on the various hybrid energy systems connection topologies.
