'Abstract Civil aviation sector is rapidly developıng sector in both ınternatıonal domestic. Civil aviatıon transportation is the subject of preference by fall in the tıcket price in civil aviation transportation besides providing faster and secure transportation opportunity among the other transportations vehicles which are sea and land transportations. Linked to increase in the demand, the number of company, airport and flight are incresed in Turkish civil aviatıon transportatıon sector. Increase demand brought the competition together and this situation cause workload for the flying personnel. Besides to workload, other working conditıons related reasons and personal factors treat the occupational health and safty. The responsıbities of the air transportation companies, employees, labour union and government are increase. In the first chapter of the thesis, general information is given about the Turkish civil aviation sector and tried to emphasize that the importance of sector ıs ıncreased within this scope. Also, the informstion is given about the international organizations and regulatory institutions of Turkish civil aviation sector. In the second chapter of the thesis, organizational polices on protection and increase of flight safty and occupational health which are followed by the companies in Turkish civil aviation sectors are mentıoned by explaining the legal regulation for flying personnel in Turkish civil aviation companies and ISO standards. In the third chapter of the thesis, factors threatnining the occupational health and safty and these factors result on flying personnel in Turkish civil aviation sector are explained. In the conclusion part of the thesis the eveluation made concerning to occupational health and safty offlying personnel. Key word : civil aviation : Occupational health and safety Özet Sivil sektörü gerek yurt içi gerekse yurt dışında hızla gelıien ve büyüyen bir sektöydür. Hava yolları taşımacılıği sektörleri olan deniz ve kara yaşımacılığına göre daha hızlı ve güvenilir ulaşım olanagı sağlamasının yanı sıra hava yolları taşımacılığındaki bilet fıyatlarının ucuzlaması dolayısıla müşteriler tarafından tercih edilmektedir. Talepteke bu artışa bağli olarak türk sivil hava taşımacılığı sektöründe şirket sayısı, hava meydanları ve sefer satıları da artmıştır. Artan talep rekabeti de beraberınde getirmis olup, bu durum uçuş personelinin daha yoğun çalışmasını gerektrmektedir. Yoğun çalşmanın yanı sıra çalşma ortamına bağlı diger koşullar ve bireysel faktörler de iş sağlığı ve güvenligini tehdit etmektedir. Bu konuda hava yolu şirketlerinin, çalşanlarının, sendikaların ve devletin sorumlulukları artmaktadır. Tezin ilk bölümünde:Türk sivil havacılık sektörü hakkında genel bilgi verlmiş ve bu kapsamda sekörün öneminin arttiğı da vurgulanmaya çalışımıştır. Ayrıca, Türk sivil havacılık sektörün bağli bulundugu uluslararası organizasyonlar ile Türkiye deki sivil havacılık sektörünü düzenleyen kurumlar hakkında bligi verilmistir. Tezin ıkinci bölümünde: Yürk sivil havacılık sektörü uçucu personele ilişkin yasal düzenlemker ve ISO standertları anltalarak, Türkiye deki sivil havacılık sektöründe faalıyet gösterenşırketlerın uçuş güvenliğini ve sağlığını koruma ve arttırma konusunda izlemiş olduklar organizasyonel politikalara deginilmiştir. Tez üçüncü bölümünde: Turk sivil havacılık sektöründe çalişan uçuş personelini karşilaştığı iş sağlığı ve güvenliğini tehdit eden faktör lerin çalişanlar uzerinde yarattıgı sonuçlar açıklanmıştır.
