Konu(lar): Özet: 'ABSTRACT ABSTRACT Democracy and election are governmental concept that are intertwine, which mean without election the concept democracy can't be, and without international accepted democratic process of election a geopolitical environment cannot be termed democratic system. The quality of such system has to be inclined with the rule of law, freedom of speech and association, free and fair democratic election exercise and some other human necessity that make life livable for every individual residing in a such environment. It one reason for this research work. Furthermore, in other for proper direction and understanding of the intertwine concept, an analytical explanation of Nigeria and Ivory Coast will be used as case study, for broad knowledge of how it works in the region (West Africa). Therefore, in other for democracy to be practiced the way it should, ELECTION has to be conducted in the appropriate way and manner (free and fair), which will allow smooth transition of power and office, that will make the rightful elect to take charge in the corridor of power and political affairs of such nation. Furthermore, in other to justify my argument, scholastic literatures in the field of politics, international relations, public administrations and other social science field were consider as justification to back up my points. Furthermore, the research will examine the mechanism put in place by International and regional body's like United Nation, African Union and ECOWAS in relation to the twin concept, and how it aid putting lasting solution to electoral crisis in the in Africa at large, through comparative analysis.
