ABSTRACT
The aim of the paper is to identify the impact of personality traits and HPWS on employee satisfaction and organizational commitment among front-line employees of the bank sector in Jordan. Four hypotheses have been examined in the study. In order to do this, a questionnaire has provided by the researcher with a total of 98 questions. The questionnaire has been distributed among the frontline employees of conventional banks in Jordan based on a simple random sampling method. The researcher provided 350 questionnaires. The number of 315 filled questions received. Prior to beginning the assessment, the investigator also eliminated 9 questionnaires with missing data points. It indicates that the response rate is 90 percent, which is a satisfactory level. Finally, there are 306 valid responses, which are empirically evaluated. The researcher of this study has used a quantitative method of research. The author first analyzes the demographic data of the participant by using SPSS v25. According to the findings, male participants are more than females. Most of the participants (77%) are young between 26 to 40 years old. The findings of the study also discovered that college graduates and bachelor's degrees are the most parts of the participant at 30.5% and 24% respectively. Most of the responders are working with the organization between 3 to 10 years old. This reflects the loyalty of the employees to the sector. The researcher examines the outer model first with a reliability and validity test via Smart PLS3. The reliability test has been measured by four measurement tests including Cronbach's Alpha, rho_A, Composite Reliability, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE). The reliability of the factors is accepted accordingly. On the other hand, the validity of the factors is measured by discriminant validity tests. So, the validity of the factors is supported as well. The research hypothesis is measured by boot strapping command and path coefficients in SEM Smart Pls3. According to the path coefficients, H1, H3, and H4 are supported and H2 is rejected consequently.
